Henry Nienhuis, FCNRS, FRCNA, FONA - A collector of Canadian Decimal, Canadian Error, and Dutch Provincial coinage. Henry is the author of many numismatic articles and a regular contributor to The CN Journal. He is currently RCNA Education Committee Chairman, Editor of The CN Journal, founding president of the Canadian Error and Varieties Numismatic Association, and a Fellow of the Canadian Numismatic Research Society, the Royal Canadian Numismatic Association and the Ontario Numismatic Association.
Rob Turner, FCNRS - Rob Turner has been an avid collector of Victorian cents for over thirty years. During this time, he has assembled multiple sets of these fascinating coins, including a mint state set containing all of the date and obverse variety combinations. Over the past several years, Rob has collected and studied many other types of Victorian cent die varieties. These efforts led him to author four highly acclaimed books on the subject, which include complete die catalogues for the dates 1858, 1859 over 1858, 1890-H, 1891, and 1892. He continues his research on this series. Rob is a Fellow of the Canadian Numismatic Research Society and in 2011, he won the prestigious Fred Bowman Award for Numismatic Research for his book, Dies and Diadems.
Jeffery Wilson - Was introduced to collecting at the age of six by his mother through a Whitman folder for 1 cent pieces. At the age of seventeen he started to collect large cents and as that neared completion he moved on to other decimal and paper series. After 2000 he began collecting Canadian medals and has almost a complete set of APNA and RCNA medals. Jeff has been a member of the RCNA for 27-years. He joined the Halifax Coin Club in the mid 1980s and after a brief hiatus he rejoined in 1997. Shortly after which he became a life member of the APNA and the Halifax Coin Club. Michael S. Turinni, FRCNA - An active collector and numismatist for over 40 years. He is well known throughout the United States as a promoter of youth involvement in numismatics and is an active member of over 75 coin clubs. He is the Western United States Regional Director for the R.C.N.A., past Director and Regional Coordinator of the A.N.A. and life member of the O.N.A. Michael is the recipient of the Fellow of the R.C.N.A., the A.N.A. Presidential Award (twice), the A.N.A. Medal of Merit among many other honours. Mr. Turinni is the current President of the California State Numismatic Association.
Ron Greene, FCNRS - For almost forty years Ron has been an active researcher and writer of British Columbia's and Canada’s numismatic history, publishing many articles and a book. He is a past President of the Canadian Numismatic Research Society, Past President of the Canadian Paper Money Society. A recipient of the Royal Canadian Mint Medal for Numismatic Education in 1991 and the J. Douglas Ferguson Award in 1986. Apart from numismatics, Ron has served as chairman of Victoria’s Heritage Advisory Committee, President of the Victoria Civic Heritage Trust and Chairman of the Maritime Museum of B.C. Foundation. He won the Heritage Canada Regional Award of Honour in 1982.
Mark Dalrymple - at a young age, Mark began collecting coins through his curiosity regarding various designs, portraits and dates on coinage. As he matured, his interest in history helped direct him toward collecting medals and tokens. He is a member of the new Central Nova Coin Club and has served on the executive of the Halifax Regional Coin Club in a variety of positions. He is the current president of the Atlantic Provinces Numismatic Association. He is a life member of the RCNA, ANA and CPMS. Mark is an active member of CATC, CTCCC, and the CAWMC numismatic groups. His passion for numismatic knowledge has led to him to advocate for numismatic research and education. He enjoys sharing this knowledge both through speaking at clubs and contributing written material to the various groups of which he is a member.
LLoyd Chan - Collecting since age of 10, Lloyd collects mainly US type coins and some world coins (whatever was interesting). He has been involved in organized collecting since 2008; a Member of the ANA, Vallejo Numismatic Society, Fairfield Coin Club, Diablo Numismatic Society, CSNA, NCNA, RCNA, ONA and CAWMC. His current interests are ancient coinage (Greek & Roman Imperial-2nd century), US type, and Canadian silver dollars including the 1967 diving goose varieties.
